Massage therapy became very important to me after suffering a spinal injury while surfing on Christmas morning in 2005. I worked with several gifted therapists in the San Francisco Bay Area who eased my pain and ultimately helped get me walking properly again. During my recovery, I became very interested in self-care and was heavily influenced by Dr. Kelly Starrett, the founder of Mobility WOD, which is an amazing resource. I credit the mobility framework that Kelly created with my ongoing recovery.

After moving to Kona in 2012, I met Nikki Hind who encourage me get my Massage Therapy license and join her at Rhiza Performance.  After I completed my training in September of 2015, I joined Rhiza Performance where I feel that I have found my true calling and love helping people achieve their goals.

I love surfing, running and train with kettlebells. I am a visual artist and was proud to be included in the 2015 Artist of Hawaii Biennial at the Honolulu Museum of Art. You can view my artwork here
